Youth Alive Director

My real name is Jiovan, but trust me “Yoyo” is easier. I have been serving the Youth of Arizona since I can remember, and helped lead 29:11 Church’s Tribe Youth Ministry as a High School Director. I was honored when Christian brought me on the Youth Alive team as a communicator to the schools, and now humbled to serve alongside as the Youth Alive Director to the state of Arizona. Otherwise, I’m just an AZ boy that loves God and loves people (and coffee).

Megan Kronstedt

Assistant Youth Alive Director

My name is Megan and I’m honored to serve as Assistant Youth Alive Director. As a high school student, I led a Youth Alive club at my school before we had a missionary/director in the state of AZ. Now I get to help students on that same journey. Previously, I’ve been both a kids pastor & youth pastor, Youth Alive Network Associate, and now US Missionary. I’m passionate about helping students understand they can walk in their calling NOW and reach others for Christ.

What We Do

 

Youth Alive is a campus ministry movement that came out of the Midwest. Since 1979, hundreds of thousands of students have come to faith in Christ, and been connected to a local church! Finally in 2017, after 37 years of existence Youth Alive came to Arizona. Since then we’ve seen hundreds more students come to faith in Christ.

Our Vision is simple, we want to see every student, in every school come to faith in Christ.

We do that through our “Big 4” strategy, which is:

  • Youth Alive Movements (Traditional Clubs, Cyberschool Homeschool, Youth Alive Huddles, etc)

  • Outreach (The 7Project & Others)

  • The Youth Alive One Day

  • Youth Alive Leaders

Everything that we do is meant to lead to one goal which is to see first time salvation and connection to a local church.

We are NOT a para-church organization. We only exist because of the local church. We work best as an extension of the local church.

Youth Alive is a ministry of the Assemblies Of God. However, we work with anyone and everyone who wants to reach unchurched students, and who believe Jesus is the only way to Heaven.
